People are often quite surprised to hear about the increase in required Protein by the body if you lift weights with any real intensity (& that can include body weight & boot camp type exercise).
When we exercise or lift weight we break down muscle tissue, what repairs muscle tissue you ask?? Protein does!
After you finish a workout you are actually weaker than when you started, what you do (rest & eat)between leaving the gym & coming back for your next workout will determine how quickly you move forward with the results everyone wants.
Our total number of Fat Cells can actually increase, but not decrease! Fat cells don’t just get bigger as you put on weight! 👙
It’s called Fat Cell Hyper-Phasic.
Generally the number of Fat Cells you have going through adolescence determines the minimum amount of Fat Cells you will have for the rest of your life. This is why a kid that struggles with his or her weight growing up will tend to struggle with weight issues more than others their entire life. It also makes it a lot easier for someone that has been over weight before to put on weight again. Once a fat cell is as big as it can get it starts to be replicated, once this new fat cell is replicated it is near impossible to lose it. The new Fat Cell can be shrunk but it will always be there.
An addiction is just an unmet need in someone’s life that usually all comes back to a safety & security issue in their childhood. Avoid that one will fill usually with a substance, over or under eating or highs like sex & exercise.
It does not matter what the addiction is to, it’s what’s causing the addiction at the ground level that needs to be addressed.
Anything that is done regularly enough that you can’t stop doing that causes you “any” kind of pain or suffering is considered an addiction.
